Holistic and medical health share plans, clean everyday essentials, and a real person to walk you through every option.
When I learned about a medical health share plan with holistic services built in, for about the same price I was already paying for my regular health plan, I switched immediately.
Before, I could only see my naturopath, acupuncturist, and chiropractor a couple of times a year. Now I have the ability to schedule 35 holistic visits a year valued at $175 each with $0 down because it comes with my plan. I’m finally scheduling massages, IV therapy, hyperbaric treatments, allergy testing, pelvic floor therapy, and thermography. Treatments I never could have afforded before are now part of my routine.
A health share plan is a way for members to pay for health care together. Instead of buying a traditional insurance policy, you pay a set monthly amount, and members’ eligible medical expenses are shared.
ClearShare is a nonprofit health share, not an insurance company. Every dollar you contribute goes back into the community. No shareholders. No profit motive.
No claims process: you pay directly at the point of care, settled in real time.
No network restrictions: see any provider, anywhere, including holistic practitioners.
Holistic medicine is built in, not bolted on: functional, integrative and natural care are included.
The Savvos SmartPay settles in real time, which eliminates surprise bills.
Young Living Health Plans are powered by ClearShare, a nonprofit health sharing ministry, and Savvos SmartPay.
A health share plan is not health insurance, and it isn’t regulated like insurance. Plan guidelines decide which expenses are eligible, so review the details or message me before you enroll. Read the full disclaimer.
This is not health insurance. Young Living Health Share Plans are health share plans, not insurance. Health share plans are not subject to state insurance regulations or the Affordable Care Act’s insurance requirements.

A health share plan is a community of members who contribute together each month to help one another with medical expenses. It’s not health insurance. With Young Living Health Share Plans, you can choose Holistic, Medical, or both.
No. A health share is a community of individuals who contribute together to help each other with medical expenses. Your monthly contribution replaces a traditional insurance premium, and contributions form a shared pool used to help pay members’ medical costs. Young Living Health Plans are powered by ClearShare, a nonprofit health sharing ministry, and Savvos SmartPay.
They’re Young Living’s partners for the health share plans:
Year-round monthly open enrollment, with no waiting periods.
The Annual Max is the most a member must pay before the ClearShare community shares in medical expenses. Members are only responsible for this amount once per year. The Annual Max applies to large medical events, including, but not limited to:
Family coverage: if you have family members on the plan, each person meets their own Annual Max until the overall Family Annual Max has been met. Once the household has paid up to its Family Annual Max, the ClearShare community shares in eligible medical expenses at 100%.
Family Annual Max by tier:
| Household | $1,000 tier | $2,500 tier | $5,000 tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Member only | $1,000 | $2,500 | $5,000 |
| Member + children | $2,000 | $5,000 | $7,500 |
| Member + spouse | $2,000 | $5,000 | $7,500 |
| Member + family | $3,000 | $7,500 | $10,000 |
See the ClearShare Member Guidelines for complete sharing eligibility, limits and exclusions.
The Holistic Plan is available at every age, including 65+, and can add the holistic care your current coverage may not include: chiropractic, acupuncture, naturopathy, massage, IVs and more, up to 35 visits a year at $0 out of pocket (up to $175 per visit). Every situation is a little different, so message me and I’ll walk you through how it fits with your coverage.
You can choose the Holistic Plan on its own. Keep your current medical coverage for emergencies and hospital care, and use the Holistic Plan for up to 35 holistic visits a year at $0 out of pocket, up to $175 each. It’s an easy way to add the care you actually use without changing your medical plan.
The Medical Plan and the Medical + Holistic Plan both include childbirth and delivery, including birth centers and home births. The Holistic Plan on its own does not include birth and delivery.
Reminder: pre-existing pregnancies are not covered. If conception happened before your membership start date, the pregnancy is not eligible for sharing.
Pre-existing conditions have a waiting period before they’re eligible for sharing, and sharing increases each year you’re a member.
1-year lookback: any medical exam, diagnosis or treatment in the 12 months before your start date.
5-year lookback: cancer, heart attack, stroke and COPD.
| Membership year | Sharing for pre-existing conditions |
|---|---|
| Year 1 | No sharing |
| Year 2 | Up to $25,000 |
| Year 3 | Up to $50,000 |
| Year 4+ | Up to $125,000 |
Exceptions (no lookback): high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes (types 1 & 2), hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.
Pregnancy: conception before your membership start date is not eligible for sharing. Pregnancies that begin during membership are shareable. Provider notes from the first visit are required to verify the conception date.
Tobacco use: $50/month surcharge, with a $50,000 sharing limit for tobacco-related illness.
If you change plans later, your pre-existing condition period won’t reset. It continues from your original start date, as long as there’s no gap in coverage.
You can use your holistic visits with:
Yes! You can use your holistic visits with a medical doctor (MD), doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), or registered nurse practitioner (RNP), at $0 out of pocket, up to $175 per visit.
If you have the Medical + Holistic Plan, you get to choose whether to use one of your holistic visits or your Medical Plan for the visit.
With Medical, you pay out of pocket until you’ve reached your annual maximum (your max out of pocket). If you’ve already reached it, your appointment is included, and you simply pay with the SmartPay app, which pulls from the health share.
You can do either, and it’s totally up to you!
Remember, on the Medical side of your plan, you pay out of pocket until you’ve reached your annual maximum (your max out of pocket).
If you know you’ll have some medical expenses coming up, you may want to keep paying out of pocket until you reach your annual maximum, since eligible expenses are shared after that.
Yes. With the Holistic Plan, you can schedule an IV with an approved practitioner and use one of your 35 visits ($0 out of pocket, up to $175). If you also have the Medical Plan, IVs are no charge once you reach your annual maximum.
Members may have the opportunity to work with ClearShare to pursue approved alternative and integrative treatment options. In certain situations, eligible treatment plans at internationally recognized clinics (including some in Mexico) may qualify for sharing. This can give members access to holistic treatment approaches with little to no out-of-pocket cost, depending on plan eligibility and approval. Every case is reviewed individually by ClearShare to determine eligibility and sharing.
No. There’s one family price no matter how many kids you have.
Yes. There are no network restrictions, so you can see any provider, anywhere, including holistic practitioners. One note: routine services are not shareable in a hospital.
No. You will need to get routine services at a non-hospital location.
No need to wait! You can enroll now and choose whatever start date you need, so your new plan picks up right when your current one ends. Signing up early means one less thing on your to-do list and no gap in coverage.
Just like you normally would: call your practitioner’s office and book your appointment. You only use the SmartPay app when it’s time to pay.
Open the SmartPay app, select a medical or holistic appointment, choose your practitioner, select the service, and hit submit. If your practitioner isn’t in the dropdown menu, simply add them in. You’ll also upload a screenshot of your bill in the app.

Partnering is easyIt’s as easy as saying yes to partnering with us, hanging posters in your office, and helping to spread the word to all of your patients when they visit by pointing to the poster! I’ll handle everything after that!
Licensing matters. Practitioners need an approved license or certification for the services they provide. For example, anyone delivering a baby must be licensed to deliver babies.
